I'm really excited to share some great news -Simon Hunnybun is back!
You'll probably know Simon as the guy behind DEEP SURF SUPs and DEEP ocean racing boards, which went on to win a stack of Aussie and international SUP titles.
Well, he's returned with a brand-new project he's created called Therapy Industries. He's just launched the website and socials, so if you get a chance, check them out and give him a follow - I know he'd really appreciate the support:

therapyindustries.com.au/
www.instagram.com/therapyindustries
www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61579662608697

Below is a little bit of a break down of what he is trying to offer with this ALL AUSTRALIA MADE SUP.

- Built Strong. Built for Fun. Built to Last.
After years of shaping, he's put all that experience into boards that are tough, reliable, and feel great on the water.
- Proven builds
A hand layup construction that's been dialled in over 12 years, using the best epoxy and fibreglass for strength and longevity.

- What's next.
A new vacuum-bagged carbon/PVC build that's lighter and faster but still strong. It's still in testing, but it's looking really exciting.
- Customs welcome
Got an idea or something different in mind? Therapy is all about working with riders to create boards that perform as good as they look.

And the best part? Simon builds every board with the mindset:
"If we wouldn't ride it ourselves, we wouldn't build it."

Just add water that first board is the test case for him to get back into it all and it is in my garage. Myself and simon spoke at length about what we want to get out of sup that was not a short board nose and more a longboard nose that could hold someone that is 100kgs. Will clarify that i do ride 10'0 at around the 27.5 mark and this board was 29 3/8.
The total dims are as follows
9'2.0"' x 29 3/8" x 4 3/8" Vol. 130.6 L

Weight of the board was just on 8kgs est. I can weight it but does have fins and tail pad plus wax on it now.
The lay of the construct was the following.
- Double bias carbon/e-glass hybrid with 4 oz e-glass on the bottom. Deck 2 x 4oz + 6oz.

- Pvc insert to go around the futures boxes.

The bottom of the board is tear drop concave in the nose front 1/4 into a slight single through middle 2/4 . 3/4 and then double hidden inside single through last 1/4. I chose the diamond tail to thin out the thickness of the tail and add a bit more balance width right at the bum of board.

Simon and i love calling it the "Happy Hour" and so far it given me some cracking happy hours with no hangover.

Any questions PM me & i have sent you simons details. If you chat to him about getting a board mention that Kieran Plim passed on to you his number.

Awesome that Simon is getting back into things... When do we think the PVC construction will be an option (at a guess)?
Thanks.
