But now you have revealed your secret weapon, the big question is will it be enough for Team ECS of Merrewether fame to bring down Harry the Masculator at this weekends Lake Macquarie Festival of Surfing?

All the best to Glenno. top bloke with lots of style. I hope he chooses his boards wisely!

Not much glide and ran out of steam quite quick?

Ha ha. Looks like we all coped a good beating? Even Harry was looking a bit slower by the semis of the SUP. In conditions like that you need to be a staunch sadomasichists to surf multiple heats on a tiny SUP!

Let's hope those little ECSs do their thing in today's finals.

Given the heavy conditions at the comp on Sunday, I reckon these boards have proven themselves? Pity there is no video?

Not so much out of steam, I reckon, because the wave is pretty weak,. look on the right side of the picture below here , how the lip is not throwing off the face. Despite of a weak wave , he has a lot of gas under the "gas paddle" while bottom turning
No much people won't do that bottom turn with an other kind of board, he is going full gas off a weak wave, this the purpose of that kind of board.

Maybe on the toothpicks used in the world cup (Vaz brothers, Mo, ....), but I bet these wide-nosed, wide tailed, fast rockered boards have insane planing and tons of fun. Plus they are suprizingly stable for their length.

I now, these kind of boards are my favorite :-)

I've posted this video but it's still proving that shortSUP are fast and fun board, here riding my fav one , I'm 78 kg on 6'4 27,75" 85 liters .
sorry for the paddling intro but that's part of the riding, only the shortSUPers know the feeling
