Have just busted off one of the thruster side fins on my 8'8" Hokua LE and am wondering what fin set ups and types/brands are being used.
Look forward to any suggestions.
I had that board for a while. My favourite setup was the Shapers Carbon Flare quad set.
i use 5 FCS snap backs carbons..but have tried others out of my surfboards ..all seem to work ok.so many ..out there ..you'd need all year to try them all. 
but some are better than others ..the cheap ones are not too good ..Its a pity they don't do Demo fins.

Will take your suggestions on board. Oh hang on, that should be under board. 
I havent ridden that board, but I reckon you should try cdrive fins in it - they made a huge difference to other boards I've had of similar dims. And make a big difference to my 8'5x29" starby. Seem better as a thruster.
