Really fun session last week to try out my new "Kook Hat Cam" (with 1st generation GoPro Session's)
Still have some vibration bugs to work out and the always problematic "water droplet" issue....
My "Kook Hat Cam" is the best.... no falling off and I don't even notice that I am wearing it.
also....I bought the "Session's" because it has "superview" without the big GoPro housing...thanks mattyongoldie!
I love the wider look at the wave and board.
The Skate? just another reason I am a Tragic ![]()
Good one .
Supthecreek .
i like the view ..always liked the helmet height vids ,you see so much more
and make it feel as if I was on the wave .
i miss summer .
The session video quality a bit dodgy......but a lot does depend on whether you are shooting into the sun and all that technical stuff?
The Sessions vid quality is good... if you are not moving ![]()
The chop provides jiggles, add the fast pans when turning, and it doesn't process very well.
I had to slow some of those clips down to 90% and fiddle with color, just make them at all watchable.
I am not happy with the vid quality at all....
but I love the panoramic view of the wave, much better than the crisp, yet confusing shots of my old GoPro's.
ha ha... it just appeared when I hit the keyboard....figured it fit my current status ![]()
I really am a pimp.... every board I get on, hits another sensor.
When the waves are right, the Skate blows me away. (slope face, not steep or sucky)
For such a wide tail, it goes rail to rail faster than any board I have ![]()
Sorry a bit off the board topic, but have you shot in the 1080p 60fps mode and the 1440? I'm trying to fiddle around with my session for kiting and can't decide which mode to stick with. Thanks for any advice.
