Hi,First post here. Just looking into race boards. For fitness really and not so much racing. I've heard that 404s are quite fast and stable. Does anyone have any feedback? I've also done a bit of a search on the net. There seem to be some videos on the net but most are a few years old. Have things changed for the brand?
Cheers for any feedback.
I had a 404 Zeedonk Green Label until last July. It was a fairly fast board, with good stability until there was a lot of side chop. Then i struggled with it. Up wind or down wind it was fine. The main reason I sold it was because i enjoyed downwinding and SUP surfing more. A race board didn't make sense for me, so i sold it to a guy who wanted that particular board for racing.
They used to be manufactured by Riviera.
That is no longer the case, their new boards are excellent and very very light.
