Thanks Sam and Fletcher at WSS. Decided to move on from my 3 years with the Nalu 10'6, great board but time for a change. Still wanted something for the smaller days that could be more surfable, with some decent litres for paddling and maybe exploring some local bombies next time a decent swell hits! 2 surfs in now with the 10'4 Recon and I have to say a very good choice. Much thinner rail profile in both nose and tail whilst retaining the ease of paddling on to a wave and more generally paddling around. Much more responsive/progressive than I was used to. Have ran it as a quad for now but with 3/4 find combo you can easily change to a thruster set up (quality manufacturer fins also)! All in all a perfect addition to the quiver and the wife is yet to notice! Planning on some vid footage soon.

What is stability like compared to the 10-6 Nalu?

Is that a ledge handle?

What is the weight?

Cheers.

stability is very good, I'm 90+kgs and its fine. Handle is not a ledge just a ridged slot, works fine as board is not heavy (will weigh when I take her out next).

Thanks. I'm thinking of getting one but can't find the weight listed anywhere, which is a bit annoying.

Is the deck slightly domed? It looks like it in the pics but they can be deceptive.
