Here's a bit of video of the new All Star 14' and also showing how it goes in a downwinder...

Excellent seeing the Allstar 14 x25.5 in action on a DW. How strong was the wind? It appeared to be very forgiving or was that an optical illusion? Would be great to see more DW in even heavier condition. Any feedback on the run would be welcomed?

Looking forward to going side by side on a downwinder to compare the 25.5 with my 28....does size really matter ?

Thanks PT for the vid. I am thinking of getting a 14' x 28" All-Star as my first 14' board.
Would you say that the All-Star is more or less stable than a similar width Ace for ocean/ downwind paddling?

It is sooooooo much more stable than an equivalent width Ace in the ocean/downwind. And I'm a big time, early adopting Ace fanatic, so to speak. The Ace is faster, but the All Star is a much more enjoyable and stress free ride.

PT... 4 things
. Great edit very artistic one of the best I've seen
. Board looks awesome (I'm hearing so much better reports than the 2013 all star)
. Loving my coast runner that was originally your own. Think I'm a starboard convert
. Best thing about this vid is it really shows how big DJ's...POLE is out front.

Thanks PT, I appreciate your opinion. I just need to try and find somewhere in SE QLD to demo one.

Thanks IWB, was fun. Agree with PT...very stress free ride compared to the ace, especially on the 28

Cheers

Great Vid PT looks like you also had no trouble steering the board from left to right across the swell either. The section of the Vid about 2.20 to 2.25 would be a great section to show someone learning to DW where to position the nose of their board and control their speed to stay on the runner for as long as possible..

Got a brief demo on the 14' x 28" Carbon All-Star yesterday, it was great and very forgiving, just need to convince the boss that I need it.
