The 12'6 x 27.5 race is by far the best downwind and all round board I've paddled. I've used it in pretty much all the races in aus. The boards more rounded nose makes the it plain really easily down the runs with minimal trimming required. This is good because you can just focus on catching the runs, and not worry if your in the right position.
It's defiantly my choice for most conditions.
