I'm thinking that this board could do with some customising, I'd like to take a wedgeout of the tailstarting from a few inches behind the tracks then running down on a angle towards the rear. I'm hoping to decrease the stickiness for take-offs on flat water and small lake bumps.
I know smik build quality is good, would cutting the wedge out then use epoxy and glass to reseal it work ? I don't want to destroy the board .
Appreciate any advice. Cheers

Possibly try a newer foil first.

I asked Scotty about moving the tracks back on my STOKR Breeze and he sent me this photo to show the divinycell blocks for the tracks. The area behind the tracks is clean EPS so you could work that area ok. I elected to order a custom Breeze instead of cutting up my board.

I found my original Stokr Breeze 6' @ 85l (same as yours?) released from the water really well, my issue was I had to run my GoFoil mast set right at the back of the tracks so my custom Breeze has the tracks further back.

Mine is the downwind 7'9" 135 litre, I'm only 75kg so well oversized I guess but I came from surf sups at 8'+. I think the foil setup and volume both make it harder but I ooccasionally get it on foil on lake bumps, just looking at a lot of dw boards they seem to have a fair bit tail rocker.
