I am progressing ok for me however just not getting much speed.
Mostly 20 to 22 kilometers per hr is it.
Advice please.

I thought the general rule was as you got older you tended to slow down a little.

Axis gear works for me.

Higher aspect foils will let you ride faster. Try some different set ups. I teach on a 1020 Axis which feels super slow to me but I ride personally for winging the 1000 with a 340 rear. Also the more up wind you go, the slower you're going to go.

Simple answer is go High Aspect ,, I actually wind foil on the same set up as I prone , let's me hold a speed 30 to 35 kph when it's windy . The bigger fatter wings that make it super easy to get up simply have a low max speed and blow out . Wings like the new Axis 101 super high aspect are great with early lift and really stable high speed . Same goes for the Takumas, new Gofoils are great just a little harder to start and same goes for Signature & Uni. Another one to look out for is the new HA Fantatics I'm testing them now ( sorry can't release pics) but very good for the wing ding
