Getting my vintage Gullwing H.P.G. IV trucks with 65mm Green Kryptos set up on a G&S Warptail 2 deck. I would like to try to street sup with this combo unless it doesn't work then I will get a longboard. At 5' 10" (177cm) tall is the recommended 5'6" stick just right or too small and a 6' stick better? Is there a way to customize the stick like a paddle?
84a durometer and 28" long. This board will bring the trucks and wheels back together with a era correct board. Maybe too small? The green Kryptos are way softer than anything my son skates.
I am 6'3 and use the 6' stick. Just right wouldnt want any longer so I would say that 5'6 would be right for your height Keys

I think the board will be too small. I am going to get a 40" to 44" flexible board with Gullwing Sidewinder trucks. The guy at the shop convinced me to build my own stick. Found some fiberglass poles and rollerblade wheels. I will have to carve the handle from maple as I think a fiberglass handle might break if it gets dropped too many times. Anybody have a line on plastic paddle handles in the states. Found some in England. Right now the sticks will cost me $25 with a wood handle and $30 with a plastic handle. The wood is more labor. Now time to build and R&D. The price goes down if you buy more poles as the over size shipping gets you.
