I've asked this on another forum, just wondering what everyone would choose...
Imagine you just lost all your gear. It got stolen or broke and now you need to start from scratch. What foil would you buy? Knowing what you know now, what wings are available or about to be released, what would you get? You can't get a bro deal, or cheap from a friend. You're paying full retail. What's your choice and why?
Well price wise and still happy with performance I would grab the np set on special here for just 895 with large wing. Another custom board about 66x28 x 110 litre. Apart from price would go axis or Armstrong foils.
A friend asked my advice. Just starting out. Is thinking prone and only 75cm mast . Has LP kite wing though
He said it is too expensive for him to buy extra masts. Which I think is pretty important functionally across uses.
This reinforced my opinion that slingshot is pretty good value. One fuselage fits all , various masts, various wings but all interchangeable across past few years and into future as far as I know.

Built heavy and solid....gear gets thrashed in my world so I don't want too refined a product. Low prices comparatively to replace broken gear or upgrade. Active used market.

There are lighter faster better performance foils out there for sure. And cheaper too (gong). But overall package I am pretty happy with ss.
Though I'm not married to it...
Open to offers should a sleek sexy model pass my way at the right price. ;-)
