Well today I confirmed that I have an IQ of a carrot!
Went to one of my local favourite surf foiling spots for some drone footage.
Was great to find a SUP foiler & a SUPer going out for a surf in the lake entrance.
So launched my cheapie but good drone, did a few practice turns & runs due to not flying my drones for a while. Then pressed record & flew out to take some footage.
Unfortunately I fumbled & bumbled about with the controls for 15 minutes until I had to return my drone for the next battery change.
Went out again with much better navigation and followed the surfers around for much better shots until the low battery alarm sounded. So returned my drone & then realized stupid me forgot to press the record button! Aaargh!
But anyway not sure as yet how to put a video on but got a shot of Spartacus a member of our site who I just met after his session. Nice guy & was nice to have a chat.
Hopefully I'll get that carrot out of my brain next flight.
Oh. And kicking myself big time for not getting out today. Was great in 3 spots I checked out.
