oK we have all seen JB froth man reviewing wings. Typical of those with a vested interest they find these are the best things since sliced bread. Looks gay as feck to me.
Soooo, I got a 2 hours session on the 4m Duotone today. With a 6 10 Fanatic Air and Axis 920. I can sup foil, kite foil and used to windsurf.

Found it super easy to putt around in light wind, not foiling , just like a windsurfer in light wind and stay upwind. Could light wind gybe ok straight off. These are easy to use. Couple of tricks for new players - do not let the trailing edge dig in and do not lean back like a kite or windsurfer.
With a few gusts I got up like the vid below I took of Jas from WAsurf/westOz.
Thanks for the review, what size did you order?
I am 85 kg and would like to get up on the foil in light wind so I suppose I should get a 5 m2?
Boom seems to have some advantages, the Duotone wing just looks less floppy than the the boomless ones.
And with a boom you can shift your hands easier and without looking up at them (I think)
And the window, does it work?

I think 4 is good with wind above 10 knots. I would not bother under 10 knots just paddle. I worry the bigger 5 will dig into the water and be more of an issue starting. 4 had heaps of power for me at 105kg.
Boom is awesome and you can tune the wing with outhaul. Never used a handle one but I think it would be less reactive to your input. Boom can bang into your board which may be a negative.
Window is too small and in the wrong place. Hard to see through like any windsurfer sail. Should be right next too leading edge. If you want to see get a kite.

With those windows you will need more sunscreen for sure.![]()

Check the like below for a Piros video of the 5m in light wind and note how low the bottom of the wing is.
