Is he doing that on slingshot gear? What wing is it? I haven't noticed anything from them for awhile.
What happened to slingshot ? They were ahead of the game when the infinity wing came out , then nothing, and some noise about a phantasm series, doesn't help if he's riding a custom but no one else can get it.
slingshot is somehow huge with the inland wake-surfing wake-foiling crowd in the US. Lots of people riding recycled 3 year old foil designs and loving it.
they just recently released 3 of the Phantasm sets for kiting. The biggest one is a re-hash of the 633 and looks dope. Would be a great higher wind setup for winging. They are going to release a jumping specific, low AR wingding like the one Jeffrey uses and also a budget, intro wingding for the masses. Rumor has it that SS sells more foils than any other company. Maybe Piros can chime in on that claim. You wouldn't know it by reading here and the Zone though. A buddy of mine sells s-loads of SS foil packages to motorboaters on Tahoe. I spent my first few foil years kiting, supping and winging on SS and have recently switched to Axis. Mostly due to the lack of new product from SS. I know the Phantasm line got all Covided out and delayed. Supposed to have a wingding specific Phantasm foil debuting next spring. Seems like the bigger producers take longer to bring new gear to market. I will probably switch foil brands 4 times by spring. And that's ok. My kids don't really need to go to college.
