Hey frothers, thought I'd open a discussion on what leash you use on your foil drive. I am up to my 4th leash this year as of today . Caught an average size wave today, cruised for a while, had a touch down, came off and leash snapped. I am using the ion prone coiled knee leash which I like using. It is comfortable and doesn't go near or under your feet.
Does anyone have any issue with theirs or is there one that you think is good. Just after a bit of feedback. Thanks in advance.

I also went through a few coil (and 6ft straight) leashes with my prone and now foildrive setups. But haven't had a issue since I changed to the Kaohi Grip leash. The 8mm thickness must make a heap of difference, but you don't notice any extra weight.

You are probably getting prop nicks and not knowing about it. As above these recommended leggies are super strong and built for efoils that's what I use.
