Just wondering if anyone has had similar experience etc with shimming a mast., I have a lift mast & have found that with my Ha120 & other front wings (because lift rear stabs/wings can't be shimmed because of the mono block construction) (also I prefer the 26" carve) that using a mast shim (about 1 degree I think) with the thinner end pointing forwards towards the nose has the same affect as a downward pointing stab on other brand set ups etc. that is lifting the nose/board up, better pump & glide etc & without the slight drag (I have tried with no shim & also with the thicker end pointing forward)., So just wondering if anyone else has had the same or similar experience or any advice or feedback would be appreciated?:-)
