You guys are tripping!! It's Laird Hamilton. The lines he is drawing are amazing! Look at the fades and how far he goes out on the flats before redirecting back up into the top 1/3rd maintaining mast height, no pumping, no bobbles. Definitely performance aspects in his approach. I'd be interested to see if you would comment directly to Laird about your thoughts on his lack of performance?

Dave, I put this up a few days back but accidently deleted it. Laird story. We're out chopes. Ten on sets. Not that crowded. Laird comes out and hogs the sets on the ski. We all get over it understandably. Later on in the surf he throws a huge water bottle out to us and gives us a big pep talk 'you guys are are doing a great job keep it up'- dead set character.
