The start of this video has gone nuts on Instagram (11,500 plays in 24 hours) , showing the 2 foils on the same wave. So I have added a couple more clips and posted here. As I am continually asked which one I prefer (I own and ride them both) Just watch the vision and make your own decision. These are Sup foils mounted on short boards. Some amazing drone footage at Burleigh Heads by Andrew Shields.
Sick, I'm finding onshore winds are helping me get much longer sustained flight. Managed one at North Kirra the other day from the wide outside bank, across a wide deep gutter onto the inside bank and then was able to pump and glide on basically nothing almost too the beach. I reckon total ride would be easy over 300 meters, blew me away.
Amazing! Great vid! Beautiful beach!!
Last week I was in surfers paradise for a conference. One of the morning I enviously looked out my hotel window to see some guys on long sups going after some waves that did not want to break - plus a guy on a foil. The foil smoked them. I couldn't believe what he was catching and how fast he went. Just flew along!
I pick up my board/foil up on Friday (thanks to Warwick at KR) - can't wait.

That's my local Sup Foil spot and there is only a couple of us, my board is Blue. This is one of the foil sessions last week at Surfers on my Garmin all up 8.5km in 1.5 hours. I'm just frothing on like Tetree
I was riding the Naish Thrust.

So are these prone paddle foil boards not sup foil boards???
The prone boards were both "One's" but the foils were the same we use on the Sups . Jake & Billy were using my Naish Sup foil. You can use the same foil on your Sup , Prone , Kite or Windsurf boards same as the GoFoil.
Hi Guys,
Seriously impressive.
I would like to know,
What size the Thrust foil was and how much do the riders weigh and what size mast?
I can't seem to find the area of the GoFoil anywhere for comparison. I am only 64kgs so interested on any medium thrust reviews.
Any comments from you experts on Kai's latest videos where he appears to be riding at least 70cm mast would be appreciated.
Thanks
Any ideas or opinions on the above. Bumped just in case it got missed over the long weekend of activities.
All the guys in that video are 85 to 90 keg mark , on the Kai Go Foil and Naish Large Thrust you could definitely go the Naish medium. The Go Foil is a 600mm mast and the Naish is 550mm , you don't need to go longer. Kai is riding open ocean that's where longer is better but harder to ride.
So can you also windsurf foil the Naish Large Thrust?
Yes, and the medium.
Thanks heaps Piros.
I kite on a 90cm Zeeko with the carver wing so I was thinking for the surf 70cm mast but I will try the 55 as suggested.
I imagine the Thrust Large will be slower then the dedicated windsurf foil but I figure I can buy a windsurf front wing later.
Does anyone know if there is much difference in performance of the 2017 Malolo foil and the new 2018 Thrust M foil .
