For some background, I have no sup foil experience but I have a large (120L) wing foil board and want to (attempt to) use it to sup foil when there isn't any wind.

At one point in my life I was a competitive canoe racer and naturally paddle on my right side. The issue is that I naturally surf and wing goofy (right foot forward).

does anybody else have this issue and how did they deal with it? Do I need to change either my stance or my paddle side in order to sup? Is this completely weird or common?

im all tangled up!

You will need to be able to paddle on both sides just to get around. If you're going to foil right foot forward, you'll be paddling into waves with the paddle on the left side. Probably just have to suck it up and get it sorted out.

I am the same and just live with it.
When SUPPING never thought about it until SUP foiling but still no problems.
