Hey guys,

why was Howard st **** today? The wind was there and the tide was goin out but the bumps were tiny..
I was there for four hours tilll it stopped but it was torture.. Thanks for listening.

There can be many reasons but the main one is wind angle and if it's just a tiny bit off the the fetch gets reduced dramatically. I think today there might have been to much East so wind cutting across straddie to much.
In all the years I have been to Howard St I find when the wind is SSE to just SE is the best with a very fine line with to much SE in the wind.

The ocean was complete crap as well, plenty of wind but crazy amount of weed when out real wide and super messy once past Burleigh, some days are just siht I guess.

Howard st when its on is so good for learning or when the Ocean Swell is too big. I haven't been up there for ages but when its on it's good.
