Hey guys just thought I would share some pic's of my homemade setup.
Works well just need to put some grip on the top side. went for a rip up the road works well, the paddle is a tad to short though, but its a work in progress.

Just biscuit jointed the wood together and cut the shape on the bandsaw and routered the edges, worked out quite well i thought.
