Hi , need help for 2 week trip to Hawaii in Aug want to go sup foiling there and looking for advice on places to stay near appropriate beach to get better as only just in learning phase. Is there reasonable sup foils to rent for couple of weeks or take my own. I have traveled most countries but I know nothing of Hawaii so any info would would be greatly appreciated. Prefer rent house on beach than resort not to far away from action as wifey may get pissed off.
Thanks in advance ??

There are many Hawaiian islands and every island is different, this is for Oahu only:
We don't rent foil gear due to insurance/ liability issues. I believe Hawaiian Watersports in Kailua offers some rentals but I would say it may be best to bring your own gear that you are used to. I highly recommend taking a lesson with an experienced foiler that can show you the good spots, point out hazards, and will greatly accelerate your progression, whatever level you are at. We don't offer lessons, but these are our recommendations for learning to foil on Oahu.

Best place for waves in the summer are the south shores, AirBNB and vrbo.com are good places to look for vacation rentals.
