Looking for tips on how to stay with the wave as I'm now getting longer glides
Without a steep face, lip or whitewater to use as a reference (ex surfer) I'm struggling to see where the actual wave is, especially in clear water. I understand the "where you look is where you'll go" concept, so I don't want to be looking down trying to see where I am on a wave :-)
Some glassy days it's very hard to tell , it's more a feel thing and when the front or rear wing gets near the surface you can hear it. I call it breathing when the wings disturb the surface , let it breathe too long a face plant is milli seconds away
If you are struggling to see on the wave just avoid the pocket and roll off the top and bottom , keep turning don't poo shoot in a straight line.
