Currently riding GF GL series 240&210 and sometimes Maliko 280 for winging and been interested lately in the Axis foil for winging specifically the 1020 w500 combo for winging? I'm 225lbs dry advanced kite and supfoiler and just getting addicted to winging, and am curious if any other larger riders have ridden both for a comparison of sorts. As hate to piss away more money on a Axis foil with what I currently already have in the GF,unless it was really worth it? Love my GF Iwa and Maliko for supfoiling work great for me,but not exactly sold on them for winging yet in lighter conditions with a 6m S25 wing. From my supfoiling perspective not the biggest fan of the HA GL series in waves actually much prefer the older Iwa and Maliko wings for waves for my style. So be curious to see a bit of comparison from GF and Axis larger riders takes on these wings for winging.

I am 231lbs dry and use the AXIS 1020 and 440 rear ... They work a treat in light winds. Slow and steady
For higher winds I use the AXIS 1010 and 400 rear ... Faster and more fun.
I'm only 190.
The GL-210 has a similar ride and carving feel, as the Axis 1010, so I don't think you would like that one.
The 1020 is more in line with the feel of the older style wings. Meaning it rides and carves more like them and less like the GLs. The 102 is a good early lift foil, without feeling too slow.
Can't help anymore on that.
