After 3 years of foiling and going from Armstrong -> GoFoil (with steps) -> UniFoil (gen 2), I think I can say I'm pleasantly surprised and I think I have finally found the brand for me! Decision was made after a demo from local shop for a couple of hours. Everything is great so far, build quality is second to none, covers are excellent, super stiff Katana masts, fast, great turning and super efficient Hyper 2's and progression 170/140 on order.

I was concerned about stiffness as 100kg and I can say the gear is strong, super easy and quick to assemble. I use it kiting, winging, prone and sup. I find it great to be able to shim and be more neutral footed and believe my foiling has improved because of it, I was tired of too much front foot pressure and like to have my back foot at the back or behind the mast when carving hard.

Recovering from a breach requires a little more work than GoFoil, but I throw the tips out all the time and rarely fall.

It was a bit of a risk selling all my gear and jumping ship but so far no regrets whatsoever.

Just a regular punter paying sticker price for gear, no affiliations whatsoever.

I was riding 83cm v1.5 mast, GT1400, GT1250, RS1000, RS1150, RSX1075, 14.5FTL, 14.5FTS and my favourites were GT1400 and RSX1075, mainly winging at that time.

As soon as I rode UniFoil, I felt that smooth glide through the water. My demo was winging on the normal 75cm mast, Hyper 2 170 and that was nice and I didn't notice too much flex to be honest, but I went for Katana masts.
