I have had the new EZ1600 front foil wing for a few weeks now and wanted to do a bit of a review.
As the Jimmy Lewis Importer I am right for boards but I am buying my foils the same as everyone else.
Bit of a back ground I would say I am a above average SUP foiler able to foil most wave sizes linking turns and able at times to pump to link up 1 or 2 waves.
Wing Dinging I am up on the foil riding switch and normal stance on the foil, gybing to toe side and starting to link turns on the waves with the wing flagged.
So why go for the EZ series front wing and not a higher aspect wing I hear you asking?
I was finding that with the wing ding and the higher aspect foil I was having trouble slowing it down enough wave riding, not to out run the wave and have to pull the power back on with the Ding..
Has it worked Yes, the EZ is very smooth through the water makes gybing easier as it all happens a bit slower.
I have started to get much longer rides with the ding flagged and linking turns.
Now with my SUP foiling I am making the nicest turns I have ever linked togeather. Yes its a bit harder to pump and carry speed across the flats but suprisingly not that but for a more low aspect foil.
You can ride very high on the mast and it does not want to seam to breach.
I suck at prone foiling but my last 2 sessions I have been able to take off ride and link a few turns so if this is down to the EZ or me just putting in a bit more time on the the prone I am not totally sure but I am going to order a EZ1250 for my prone wing so I will let you know the EZ1600 feels maybe a bit big.
After having a few other brand of foils the whole Go Foil thing works because its simple a single screw to change wings. All the wings tails etc are compatible no, it does not fit the model or holes to drill.
You do not have to pull the thing apart every time to wash and apply more lube. It does not CORRODE.
Finish on the wing is excellent.
Some times I wonder if we are not going down the rabbit hole we went to windsurfing years ago with the rush to go to higher and higher performance equipment and making thing to hard and expensive..

Awesome review Rod! I love riding the EZ for prone on some smaller days. Also been teaching on the 1600 as it doesn't seem to breach! Next year there will be 1025 & 1800 available too
I completely agree with you. EZ range is awesome.
I've only ridden the 1600 but really liked the way it works.
If you guys want performance with ease of use try the GoFoil GT range.
coming from GoFoil Gl range they are a huge improvement .
turns are smooth and fast with no cavitation. I v also found I can go down in size on what I previously used.
The new range is interesting. From what i can see:
-- RS: an upgrade on NL, both faster and better turning and better pumping. It's a wow.
-- GT: maybe similar to NL, but improved lift and more stable. Best for 1 wing all arounder.
-- EZ: brings back all the good stuff from the original wings, but with less speed and drag penalty. I loved my Iwa, so many fantastic sessions, but now it feels like dragging an anchor. Would be fun to try EZ, get that in the pocket feel, but with more upside.
I had a go wingdinging the 1600 and it was fun but felt slow after the RS1150 I was on just before it. A better prone or sup foil wing than for wingding IMO.

I will give you my EZ1025 for a few days.
I would love to get your feedback form someone who has been foiling at a high level for so long.

Agree with this the GT1400 is an amazing foil.
