We have the NP Glide Large and Medium foils and the Axis S900, S1000, S820, S920 and S1020
My daughter is 62 kg /135 lbs and has an Axis 5'0 41 liter foil surfboard that she uses for surfing and wingdinging.

The NP Medium is 1226 sq cm and 75 cm wide
The Axis S900 is 1277 sq cm and 90 cm wide
The Axis S820 is 1528 sq cm and 820 cm wide

Can we leave the NP stuff at home when we go on a surf trip or is my daughter going to miss our smallest foil?

What does she normally ride?

She has wingdinged with the NP large and medium and with the Axis S900, S1000 and S1020 depending on the wind.
She is doing very well in 10 to 30 knots.

But she was surfing with the foil only one time with the NP Large and that was not a success, too much lift.

The Axis S900 and the NP medium will be more controllable for her but wich of these 2 will be better for her to learn surfing with a foil?

I think the 900 will be easer than the NP medium simply because the 900 won't give that strong lift under the front foot on take-off. You can concentrate on just catching the wave, then popping up later, out front of the wave and still have tons of speed and energy to ride.
