Was at St Kilda today and did 7 or 8 downwind runs from the slipway down to the kite beach. Was great fun and could hitch a drag from the occasional car going upwind which was good.

The board (I think it was a kahuna?) goes much better on the sealed road then the paved sidewalk. There were lots of cars and vans parked on the strip making a windbreak. I think it would have been even better if they werent there.

Wind was SSW 20 knots be interested to see if theres any other longer spots to do downwinders. It seems to work best on a sealed road but you need somewhere theres no (or little) traffic.

Being able to do downwinders via tram would be cool.

I have an old timber waterski, circa 1970 that I have put a set of Seismic trucks on and it is kick ass to cruise on. I'm getting the Big Stick for sure after test driving one yesterday(Saturday 13th), Had a blast!!!!
