We were testing some tracking shots with the Skydio 2 drone, kitesurfing from Floreat in around 25kn a few days ago and a prone foiler inadvertently entered the shot.
The dude was just blasting downwind. Mad skills!

Nathan, aka foil_perth, pretty sure that is the day I was foiling with him for a few ks but I had a wing.
I reckon he would have been on his sunova pilot board and would def be on an axis foil, I'm guessing the 1000 front 460 tail same as I was using.
I think that is his favourite set up in those contitions.
We had a blast I went Port to Sorrento think he only went City to Scarborough but has been know to do the whole run.
Yep mad skills.

Ah I wasn't out on Wednesday but Nathan, myself and a couple of others often do foil downwinders.
So yep I'll pm you, It'd be good to get some footage, particularly if a few of us could do a run fairly close.
Which if often hard foiling downwind, everyone covers so much ground zig zagging around.
