Blast from the past. Kai Lenny & Connor Baxter downwind foiling on race board SUPs with the GoFoil tuttle mounts that Alex Aguera rigged up for them. How far the sport has come is amazing. What's more amazing is GoFoil is still to date using the same mast/fuselage one piece & two screws wings on complete system. Strong as f**k, lightweight & simple. How have the rest not figured it out yet ??.

What's ironic to me is how the Downwind boards went from long to short and now long again. The barracuda was meant to use for prone DW. Very few use it like that. Most Sup Downwind with them instead. Go figure...

Same thing happened in sup too I guess started out on longer thicker and then went tiny low volume then back to longer, easier catch more waves style.

After posting this on Instagram Alex Aguera chimed in and told his first hand story. For those not on Instagram here's the comments.
