Hi everyone - I have an A-wing 5.5 which I ABSOLUTELY LOVE. It is easily as powerful as the 6m WASP. Riders who have A-wings... I'm 90kg and need a wing for 25kt+ days. What size is the best replacement for my 4m Cabrina? Given how powerful my 5.5 is, I'm thinking 3.5 A-Wing would be like a 4? Keen to know your thoughts on how the sizes shape up. THNX

I have a 2m gap with my Smiks and it works well. 4 and a 6.

Hi there,

I use all three A-wing sizes. In the conditions you mention you can easily go for the 3.5. It is more than powerful enough, even to pull you up on deep water starts. Maybe even too much power when it really gets windy. I still have a 3m wasp for those nuking days, haha.

I use the 4.5 on a small board from 16-22 knots. The 3.5 I use above that. I am 82 kg. On a big board you can use it even earlier.

Hope it helps
