Haha, the giant grin on Oskar's face in the video screen shot is all you need to know about the 525
.
Love to try it ! but I've got my hands full with the 725 atm and haven't reached its limits yet.
What rear tail do you like with the 725? Mast length? Fuse? Basically everything haha
I'm on 85, 50 fuse and v tail, but picking up a HA195 on Monday.
Depends......for cranking harder turns I like the 212, for everything else I like the 195. The 195 is more efficient and you can pump the 725 nicely with it as well as takeoff on bigger waves without getting boosted. The 212 creates more lift but turns harder because it's not as wide. I'm about to try a KD tail for towing as it's thinner than the 212 but the same width. The 195 tail is so efficient on glide and pump though it's hard not to ride it.
I'm on 72 mast 50 fuse and 0 shim old fuse.V tail turns the best, but harder to pump as you can't be off centre and no good for tow foiling or bigger waves because if you load it up too much it flexes and spits you off. V tail is great with 1125 or 925 on smaller waves , really makes those wings whip around.
HA tail at minus 1 - set and forget. Just change front foil now. That is where most of us have settled now around our circle of foilers anyhow. I'm on 85/60 fuse but son on 75/50 fuse. Same same with tail. Kobo is right - took some adjustment with turns compared to V tail, but it turns good enough and the pump factor is a no brainer comparatively. It's night and day as far as I'm concerned pump and glide wise.
ps the Ha tail also breathes new life into the HS wings as well.
we just need some front wings in between the HS and HA now.
(I figured if I say it enough in enough places it could happen).

Finally get my 195 next week; can't wait. Only just started getting 2 for ones on the v-tail on the SUP and am hoping the 195 helps pumping a bit. All my tails are chopped and having some platform back there will be nice if it still turns well. Also betting the Armstrong development turns toward hybrid surf models. HS1250 is due for a tweak...but I digress!
Something along these lines would be good: www.instagram.com/tv/CaGaLM3pHbT/?utm_medium=copy_link
That looks amazing...
