I don't foil-drive yet, but everyone who's tried this Ak Intergrated Foil-dirve mast is just frothing on the improved efficiency and especially the virtual elimination of the dreaded pod-grab. It also reduces taxiying battery usage, our local main AK-Integrated-mast frother reckons it saves about 10% battery.
On the Mono-tail, we spent a lot of time finetuning the AoA using the two other fuse tail options that AK offer. AK has their own proprietary fuse with a curved tail saddle which allows for no-shim AoA adjustmensts on the fly - guys bring an Allen key and adjust while in the water. AK also offer a reversible flat fuse (in 3 different lengths) which allows top or bottom mount plus compatible with any tail (and shim) that has 30 and 40mm gaps between the screws so it's compatible with tails from KD, Signature, Uni, F-One and others.
The Plasma range is the higher aspect, primarily downwind and pump foil, but it also surfs really well and you can do wing-tip out turns with ease - Piros even got a few in the video and it looked like he didn't even know.
