Wow.
Hard to tell, did the main unfurl maybe?
The thing with the huge mast opposite just gets nailed , would have been interesting to see.

shipping containers ended up in the water, Ferry lost its mooring(had to be retrieved) and a few boats in the Marina sank.
also roofs ripped off and parts of the dock just ripped apart.
It did look like the sails unfurled on the Cat and the other boat. Those furlers! Mega Windage.

Looks like she may be ply. so many plywood boats over there.
They were to go cruising next year in her.

Have a look at the video in the link.
At 1.15 they show the size of the mooring line for the cat, that's just unbelievable.
I always drop the furled headsail or truss it up like a chicken when we have foul weather beckoning, now I'm convinced I'm not being too paranoid.

Looks like it might be a Schionning in which case it's likely to be made of Duflex and should be relatively simple to repair, based on what we can see in the picture.

Crikey. worth more than my house.
Well theyll be insured. Heres hoping they get on their hulls again asap.
