Works for me! Thanks Gary
Good one Gary, that saved me a trip to the boat for a sail today! What's the line and bouys arrangement in your pen, is that some kind of catcher that stops you blowing sideways into your neighbours boats or something?
Hi 2bish
Looks a bit like this. Each boat is responsible for the port side mooring line.
The front circles are rings on the wharf.
The lower circles are buoys with mooring lines attached.
A bit like Mediterranean mooring.
This is the fishers mooring system and every one bounces off their neighbor a bit.

I see, thanks! I think I'm still a bit traumatised from our time in the pens so I'm interested in solutions. For us, swinging in to the pen with cross winds was really stressful, the bow would just dive off down wind. We actually moved back on to a swing mooring because of this, it was becoming a real bummer to have spent a nice relaxing couple of days out on the boat, only to get stressed out during the last 5 mins of the trip.
