dont know if this is right place...but

For dust extraction in my woodwork shed I need to make a shape that will fit behind my SCMS Ideally around the size of a Weber kettle lid. I cant find anything S/H locally so going to try 'glassing.

Any clues, pointers advice please.
looked on YT and there appears to be a lot of repairing 'glass

You would need a mold I would imagine. A Weber lid would be ideal....

The easiest way would be to flop mold off an existing lid, a Weber lid or similar. I would suggest epoxy resin and fibreglass cloth [6 oz]. It will be cheaper and easier than using fibreglass resin, less waste and a lot more working time. Just cover the mold with packing tape, that shiny slippery brown stuff or Glad wrap. After one or two layups and after a day or so, pry off the work. It will be flexible still and then continue laying up and adding reinforcing as you require. Or you could make a wooden unit and just reinforce with epoxy and fibreglass cloth.

if you use epoxy you could shape a chunk of polystyrene to your specs. just glass straight over the top to the thickness required. when cured you can remove the coolite by melting with petrol. dont light it
