can anyone help me identify what boat this is

Hi, I've bought a sailing boat (dinghy) today as a project to do up, but i cant work out what sort of boat it is, it has a main and mizzen mast and is 5.4 meter LOA, your help is most appriciated. thank you. Harrienak

Can't help you with identifying the boat. How many sails does it have? Perhaps the mizzen mast is actually the boom?

Looks like a heavy weight Sharpie. Used in the 1956 Olympic games in Melbourne. Morphed into the lightweight Sharpie in the early 60's.
Has a gaff rig. Not as pleasant a boat to sail as the lightweight but still a lot of boat. I started sailing in these as the bailerboy about 1959-60.
