After half an hour of fight and a bit of butchery on board, I got my first Bonito while sailing.
Problem, I have now blood literally everywhere, transom, cockpit, deck, girlfriend...
any folk remedies to get rid of blood stain on gelcoat?

Haha, good story cazou.....
Mix bi-carb soda and white vinegar. It's also good for black mould....cleaning bathrooms.... works best while it's still fizzing.
Warning:- Don't try to mix it up in a container with the lid on.
Vinegar and bicarb react violenly. Contain the reaction and you have a potential explosion.
A tip for when you catch your next bonito, tuna or mackeral. Before you bring him inboard, give him a nip of rum.
Salt water as soon as possible is the easiest. Oxalic acid will get rid of stains in the gelcoat.
Cut the bonito into cutlets and add some Parmesan cheese to the fish coat or batter.
