Hi all
I went for a sail after work today and managed to knock the ignition key with a fender and break the ignition switch
I don't suppose anyone has a Yanmar ignition switch (or a complete panel) laying about that they would like to sell before i call the Yanmar dealer tomorrow
I think the part number i am after is 124070-91250 and it is to suit this panel
Thanks in advance
Regards Don

I have the same panel and had a similar switch problem. Replaced it with one of those plastic "key" switches, same as this: www.whitworths.com.au/swch-batt-security . Never had a problem since.
Take the switch out and see what's on the back of it. Most aftermarket ignition key switches will work, some have three positions, others just two. Early Harley switches will work, they have off, on and headlight. Should be the same for this application. www.easyr.com.au/ignition-switch-fx-xl

+1 for the generic switch. I also swapped my over when it broke a couple of months ago.
Yanmar keys are one design, they operate in any yanmar ignition switch, so the key value is worthless.
Hi all
Thanks for the information but I am a bit time poor at the moment and have decided to order the genuine Yanmar switch at $160 as i know it will go straight in without having to dismantle the panel to remove the old switch to find something that will match it
