Hi all, looking for a good mechanic that will come down to the boat at Gosford Sailing Club and give my Yamaha 9.9 a service. I think I got a bad batch of fuel. I got new fuel but now the motor has no guts at half revs and stalls at higher revs. It also sounds a lot more "tinny" now and I can see a slight exhaust smoke now where I didn't have this before.

I should add that I have neither the tools or the expertise to attempt any more than what I've done and while the motor is working I don't have the confidence it will get us back to Pittwater.

He is a marine mechanic, and runs a mobile service out of his boat from the other end of the bay.
I'm not sure of his availability at this time of the year, but worth a try.

Maybe try InSync Marine West Gosford, or the three marinas on the on the other side of the Rip Bridge.
