I drove a travel lift for many years in my younger days, truckies arriving many days with motor boats and yachts.last time I trucked my previous yacht from Sydney to Adelaide regional, cost 10k but wasnt a yacht to sail that distance and would have cost that much to build a trailer.

Would you have the name of the transport company as I've been looking for a lowdeck trailer to move mine which has height issues unless I can get the keel lower, any info would be great

Give Tom Anderson a call 0458 788 844. The best in the business.

I recently used Johns Marine Transport. His trailer has a slot where the keel goes which can be hydraulic lowered to just off the road.

This man / company is referred to in an earlier post, and the number is on the truck.
This was about 6 years ago, and cost about $4 300 all up at the time - about $3500 for this truck from Pittwater to Paynesville (eastern Vic), plus 2 lots of mast crane, and 2 lots of the travel lift. We lowered the mast the day prior to the travel lift. Upon delivery it was just the travel lift. I put the mast up a few weeks after the travel lift, as some maintenance was done to the mast.
