That the tracker to use, thx Don. Click on the legend in the middle lower screen for options if you weren't aware they were there.
Interesting that Comanche has chosen to go further east than the rest of the fleet

Hi Don, I got the impression several hours back they went hunting for better breeze which they couldnt find and got stuck out there. If you look at their track theres a zig zag where they either avoided something or changed their mind. Ive got a carton of beer on them getting line honours, I hope its a good tactic instead. According to Windy.com tracker they will hit the better pressure before eveyone else. (I just looked they are in it now and Scallywag and co arent) ![]()

G'day Don,
I reckon Trek is spot on, but Stan Honey is one of the words best naviguessers, so better than good chance he could have been setting the position for the holes ahead of them the whole time.
Commanche was built to run hot angles, where the skinny guys can ddw all day long, so she will always be out on the edges banging the corners. With the right angles, prob no deeper than 150TWA, she is near untouchable, but square up that angle by say 10 or 15 degrees and it's goodnight Irene.
This is proving to be a fascinating race.

Hi all
When you look at the numbers Commanche is moving well at the moment

Both the ECWMF and GFS models show the back of the fleet getting a beeyoutiful pressure zone catching them and then just sitting over them. The centre of the high pressure system heading E just split away from the coast, so a laneway is opening .
This will be awesome if the models are right.
