Hi there, I have a hobie 14 cat that I'm looking to do just casual sailing with family and friends. Where are the best places to launch and sail around Sydney. Thanks.

I used to sail my Hobie out of Balmoral when I was a kid and loved it. There is a nice beach and grass down the South end to launch from. We sometimes went all the way up to Gladesville and back when the harbour was quiet. Mind you that was a long time ago and it is undoubtedly a lot busier today than it was in early 70's.

That depends on lots of things mostly where you are located and what you are looking to do.
Less traffc and clean air can' beat Botany Bay you also have Kurnell Catamaran Club. However the bay doesn't have the great cruising places the Harbour and Pittwater have.

Biggest problem in Sydney is where you are going park your car and trailer.
