Does anyone know what this is apart from very cheap?
After finally getting over my previous back injury I spoke too soon! I went for a ride on my supermoto and long story short guy cut me off and I have 3 fractured vertebrae. Think I need to change my lifestyle. ![]()
Perhaps I might sell the hobie and go a mono so I can cruise a little. Just not sure what swarbrick boat this is?
It is a yacht called Armadillo that actually looks like one but is probably as bullet proof as one too. ![]()
It is also a very sharp looking yacht if the yard photo is recent.
$1,800............Looks like a nick to me, but be prepared to spend that much again to get it seaworthy, you know, mechs, elecs, tronics and a bit of shiny stuff.
You will no doubt get around the no key thing, or use it as a bargaining point, or both.
Cool, thanks Lydia.
Can anyone tell me just looking at the shape what the sailing characteristics this boat might have? Theres not much on the net.
Im not too cluey about mono designs.
How might it differ from say a tophat or folkboat?
These are two boats Im interested in but lack here in WA. I have been thinking about flying over and sailing one back to Perth.

Have you seen the underwater profile of a top hat or a folkboat?
This will be faster point higher.
Will bang more probably not quite as good a a sea boat.
