been into Ikea today and then masters both a night mare I liked my old full fibreglass sized oval wash I brought at garage sale years ago.....seems all is porcelain now slate/marbel heavy and not so good for the home handyman boat man? Anyone know who sells them?
Those basins were also made in steel and baked enamel. They really are a perfect size and shape.
If you can find one in a second hand shop that is not rusty, the people who resurface baths etc could make one of them look like new.
Don't know if you have the chain shops "Ken's Plumbing" in S.A. but nearly all the builders here buy from them.

In S.A. try the Banner hardware chain. They carry the "Plumbing Plus" range.

The basin in the pic was pink colour until I spayed it in 2 pack white it was rather fibre glass or Moulded plastic. Mate has four square plastic sinks and Im welcome to one for free but it just doesn't compare for ease of cleaning and drainage. They looked at me strangely when I enquire at Bunnings/idea/masters!
