Seems well fitted out. Not sure about the white cushions! Like the toolbox, gives a good impression of a previous owner. I could not sail a boat looking ahead through the hardtop. Especially from a seated position. Mate had one of these for a few years before having an aft cockpit Jarkan about 44 foot built.

Hi Donk
I had one of these a few years back she was in the devonport floods insurance wrote her off and paid me out but a young lad from bridport (pat) has done her up a treat as good as new.
This 10.5 has been about for a little while and from memory there is a blog on her travels.
The previous owner looks to have renovated her extensively as dont think this was a standard layout .
Search this forum for Jarkan 10.5 many posts about them
I loved mine aft cabin was great sailed well but a little tender at rest but thats super critical.

Longtime lurker, first time posting. You can check out some of her travels at freespirit52.com/
My father owned one "Amity" when I was growing up. Very solid.

Looks pretty nice!
Just from a riggers perspective....
Profurl furler, stiff to furl, might give years of ok service, might fail next wee. Want warranty, send the offending part back to France ????

Rigging screws are older Ronstans so I'm guessing they weren't replaced in the last re-rig.

Can't tell much else from pics but happy to drop by POW for a look if you want.

Hi all

Thanks for the information

I have had look at the website and she has done a bit of travelling over the last few years

We went up to Hobart on Friday and had a look at her from the dock and she looks quite good so I might see if I can organise a look onboard tomorrow

As I have said before I don't really want to end up with two boats at the same time so now that the racing season is nearly over it might be time to seriously look at what we want for the future and put Aqua-Fae on the market

I would also need to talk to MAST and see if I can put a longer boat on my existing 2 moorings

Regards Don

Hi Rumblefish

Thanks for the information and the offer

I will give Paul a call in the morning and see if we can organize a look over her tomorrow afternoon and if we are still interested I might get you to have a look over her if you are in the area

Had a friend with a Jarkan 10.5. He really liked it and did some big trips into the Pacific with a young family on board.

The WM35 is a plus in my book. I spoke to Wichards about re-powering a J 10.5 and they said they had recently re-powered two J 10.5s and the 35hp went really well.

This Martz 35 also looks like a good boat in a similar class. Not as keen on the Nanni but still a recent Kubota based motor so probably good thing.

Hi Termite

Thanks for the information

That Martzcraft is a tidy looking boat and there is one for sale about 30 seconds drive away from here but i am not sure I am a ketch person

I have organised to look over the Jarken on Wednesday afternoon so I will let you know how she looks in the flesh

I emailed Mast today and it appears that there is enough room on both of my moorings for a 34 footer so that is good news

I would like to thank Rumblefish who took the time today to look at the boat from the pontoon and give me a phone call with his thoughts on various aspects of it

As Sam said earlier this is a great forum
