A great design but a cumberson shape for confined spaces

That motor is reasonably large and more horse power that whats needed. I realize what you are saying though.
I would think that motor would be at least 60 HP 4 Cylinder if not more . Think of a 1/4 of the size and add another bank

Harland and Wolff also doxford have used this type of engine for at least 70 years, I sailed with Bankline in the 60s mainly on Doxfords, they were referred to as oil engines.

I always feel that most designs are from earlier years with a few more technology updates., There is some incredible old designs
