I'm getting tired of looking at the price of cleats, so I might give a couple of these a go...

I recently purchased a 2nd hand winch of ebay for the price of a new stainless steel cam cleat.

I nearly bought one last year SirJ now I own a B.O.A.T. =$$$ as Cisco puts it cant afford it $2000 would get you a reasonable one

The cast stainless cleats at Whitworths are only $30 to $40. For the TIME you spend making them I think they are worth it.

Bunnings now sell stainless cleats also!
