Johnathon is not making a killing for no reason at all, he has a bunch of moorings to put all those no longer desirable yachts on that the old owners couldn't get rid of and couldn't get the bloody thing out of their name so paid him in desperation as waterways was breathing down their necks.
And while there are those who think they are still worth the big dollars and jump in and purchase them , be warned you could be stuck with a problem on the water that will cause you to lose some sleep further down the line.
Even the mighty S&S 34 is starting to suffer this fate.

Hang on- didn't you just post that you bought a cheapie C28? I don't know that Jonathan is making a killing- many of his boats are not selling and he has come up with his hire-purchase idea. I think this is aimed at live-aboards, and maybe will work as people become homeless with the recession.

You are either a yacht owner or you are not a yacht owner, neither of which positions make any dollars or any sense.

When the light bulb comes on, let us know.
